Beautiful stuff—elegant and with great subtlety. Maturing with miles to go. Nose is beguiling—softened tannins, rose petals, dusty fruit. Palate is a soft arc—blackberry, minerals, slight tannic finish. Lovely.

Needs a 45 minute decant.
Then lavender. Meat perfume. Blackberry flower. Wow.
Palate is blackberry juice. Great green pepper skin. Delicious.
Had this with a 14 Cornas and a 13 Brunello. Excellent and very good producers. By far the wotn.

Killer nose out of the gates. Blackberry and mega tar. Smell the ink. But also mega mineral. Concentrated and deep with mega tarriness and inky blackberry fruit. Big slatey tannins but not unruly as there is a sense of refinement here. Juicy and deep. This is very very fine. Has 20+ years.

On open Nose has that inky blackberry melange. Mellows to more a sweet fruit with air. Palate is super deep and dense on open. Amazing juiciness for a wine of this weight. Bought from Fass selections. ... as this opens its much more elegant. Shockingly so Really a wine Of finesse. Brilliant midnseason cherry fruit with some spice. Long finish. Wow this is great. Still has a decade to go my guess. Great structure.
