Tasted twice. “Ruit Hora” is a line of poetry from the Odi Barbare collection of poems by Giosue Carducci and translates to “The Hour Hastens.” A blend of 65% Merlot, 25% Cab Sauv, 5% Petit Verdot & 5% Syrah. Aromas of dark fruits and pleasant noticeable spice. On the palate blackberry and sweet cherry, cacao and vanilla flavors. Nicely balanced, soft tannins, opened quickly, lingering ending with fruit and gentle smoky oak. Very Nice!
