Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Bold and smooth. Full body flavor but light on the back end

Tonight I have opened the 2012 Ca'Momi Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose is nice giving up notes of black cherry, blackberry, currant, sweet tobacco, and a toasty oak. On the palate it is a full bodied with nice fruit of black cherry, blackberry, spice, black pepper and a smokey oak. The is a nice medium + acidity and very nice medium + tannin. The finish lingers which makes for a pleasant wine.

Smokey-Oakey

Classic Cab that punches above its weight class. Dark fruits that are almost brroding. Formidable structure that just takes a hold.

Dark berries, oak and a hint of black pepper. Medium-bodied, blackberries and slightly rustic tannins. Good value for a Napa cab. 2015 vintage. Abv. 13,5%.

Wine offerings crafted by Italians Dario De Conti, Valentina Guolo-Migotto and Stefano Migotto from their winery and vineyards in Carneros. Dark red with berry and spice aromas, not overly complex. Black cherry, cinnamon and cedar dance around in the glass. A lighter body Cabernet, dusty tannins ending with smoky notes.

Black cherry, blackberry jam, smoke, spice, black pepper. Medium bodied, finishes with noticeable barrel tannin. Very dry, appealing Cab.
