Lugana Trebbiano

Tangy and fresh Trebbiano from the Lugano DOC on the southern end of Lake Garda. Crisp green apple, lemon/lime zest, fresh thyme, white stone fruits and a chalky/flinty mineral note on the nose. Bitter green almond, citrus and white stone fruits on the pallet leave a long crisp and pleasant finish. This white is only 12.5% alcohol which would make it a perfect aperitif on a warm afternoon.

Lovely aromas or lemon zest and orange blossom. Maybe a touch of rs, but very refreshing acidity nonetheless. Well balanced and very tasty if a bit simple.

💯 % Trebbiano. All stainless steel. If you like trebbiano, don’t listen to me, because I really don’t. Totally biased against this varietal.

Had plenty better Turbiano than this - extremely austere, angular, razor sharp edges w/racy domineering acidic backbone. Plenty of slate, minerals, seashells, saline, hints of lemon & lime but this was a mineral bomb.

Very nice and refreshing!!!! Apple, lemon, flint, and stone fruit. Very creamy with a long finish. A great summer wine to drink.

Paired w/roasted butternut squash ricotta, white truffle and pine nuts
