Aug 31st, 2019Reduced nose displaying damp earth and wild mushrooms. Great acidity and firm structure supporting ripe red fruits. Lovely spice character and silky, graceful mid palate. The brightness and aromatic power of this wine is very sensual and somewhat extroverted, but it remains light on its feet with just the right amount of weight. Great example of the region and an excellent value in New World Pinot Noir.

May 4th, 2018Ripe and spicy with beautiful texture. Oak shows strongly upon first opening but integrates nicely with time.

Apr 10th, 2018Oh yeah. Forgot to load this one. Monday recovery night at Ad Hoc. Buttermilk fried chicken, broth bowl of mussels, clams, shrimp, and claws, finished off with pork belly.

Feb 5th, 2020I am enjoying sampling PN's from different regions...Central Otago offers some nice selections..as always vintage depending...but I have found the 2015's to be quite nice!
This wine is New World in style...damp earth..mushrooms..bing cherry..mild oak...nutmeg..cinnamon...mild acidity..presents with a decent long finish!
Revisiting this post vacuum pumped and put in the fridge...this has opened up even more...enjoying the earthiness of this wine!

Спичечная головка, порох, сверхтонкая рассольная летучка, малина, личи, манго, ежевика, розовый виноград, гвоздика, салат фризе, эстрагон. Среднее тело с фантомной газацией, спелой, тропической органолептикой, мягкой, шелковой кислотностью и тонкими танинами. Фактурно и экспрессивно, в меру глубоко, уже вполне открыто и готово, выраженно новосветски. Чуть не хватает нерва, четкости и структуры. Дело вкуса.
