Tasted the 12, 14 and 15. This rating is for the 2014. Purchased in 2002 by the Chicago based Sauvage family and under the guidance of Ted Lemon (Littorai) and Claire Mulholland. Biodynamic and making great Pinot. Should be available in the USA with these connections.

One of my NZ favs. So much in a bottle. Bright, yet complex earth, great fruit and structure. Length is perfect. So enjoyable. Drunk over 2 nights and dare I say, got better.

So juicy and deep. Such a pretty drinkable wine. Great acid and generous fruit. So good now but will keep for a good future

I like this a lot. A bit darker and more sour fruit than yabby lake single vineyard 2014. Definitely longer flavour
Explotion in your mouth. A fantastic outsider from Otago an awesome land.

2013 spicy, stemmy, sour cherry aromas shift seamlessly to savory mushroom and meat with bright acidity on the palate. Oak presents itself on the nose more as it sits. Evolves even more to a clean, saline nose. Tannins are present but restrained, moving from the back of the mouth to the front of the tongue. A beautiful wine.

This wine will blow you away just with the nose. Coming in a 13.6 alc, delicious.
