This hasn’t delighted me as much as expected. I think my experience of Dolcetto is far lighter than this. Some bad Fillet Steak (that is normally divine) to accompany has left a bad taste. Not the day.

Had a memorable experience in Milan where it was used to decorate the restaurant. A guy was mansplaining to his GF in Italian, but we could tell she hated it. Then came back to NYC and found it was easily available at eataly

Reddish purple and slightly opaque in color. On the nose strawberry, cotton candy, and wet hay. On the palate cranberries, sour cherries, and some minimal stone. The wine definitely does not drink as it smells. Tannins are still quite rough and unbalanced with the acid. The aroma is definitely the best characteristic of this wine.
