Nice looking bottle, TS fill. Brought to Grasings in Carmel, opened/decanted 4 hrs before. Reddish tawny, doesn’t look it’s age. Wow nose. Exotic, attention grabbing. Notes of tea, rose petals, black fruit, some licorice and a little menthol. Ethereal in the mouth. Needed 5+ hrs to show its stuff. Had the staff standing in line for some shared pours. Great showing. At peak but bottles like this one are going to deliver pleasure for another 10 years easily.

Tawny rims with reddish center. Translucent and light in the glass. Gave it 9 hours in the decanter. Aromatic nose of bright feminine red and black berry fruit. Roses and tar but in a delicate way. Makes your face go flush when it hits the palate. Very round. Chewy. Needs a big creamy mushroom pasta or grilled pork chop next to it. Great stuff.

Bricking red, light and translucent in the glass; amazing aromatics in the nose... Rose petal, red berry fruit, a little soy, tar, and some sweetness in the nose and mouth. Elegant, stately finish. Hit its stride after 5 hrs of air. Really good.

Had this last Wednesday (Undisclosed Location in #Queens,#NewYork), I can still taste it. explosive bouquet. Silk-like palate coating tannins and a never ending finish. Perfectly stored..a borderline masterpiece #barolo
