Bruno Giacosa
Falletto di Serralunga D'Alba Barolo Nebbiolo
Barbaresco, Cuneo, Piedmont, Italy
From a restaurant list, decanted and poured. Nice reddish color with bricking, translucent. Aromatic floral nose with notes of sweet plums, rose petals, some tar and a little hickory. Watery at first but firmed up with air. We went through 4 btls of this, all consistent. Showing some age. Its still youthful overall.

Perfecto! Well not quite but so delicious the bottle ran out because I poured it all into my glass, again and again and again until the bottle was empty!

Soft plum with some Sherrie’s edges. Lovely fruit. Great acidity and balance.
