I remember last vintage being quite dry, earthy and herbal. This 2017 was outrageously juicy and really really delicious, I think a touch of RS contributing to its drinkability. Cherry Jolly Rancher balanced by a touch of stem or herb, perhaps from some whole-cluster. Enjoyed with grilled chicken sausages and soy glazed carrots, Mac and cheese. Hoping to get some more of this in my next allocation!

One of the most delicious, dangerously drinkable wines I’ve had in a long time. Concentrated aromatics of currants, strawberries, herbal tea, and earthiness. Light, refreshing, great for food pairing, and just a feel good wine. Had no idea what this grape was or it’s origins before tasting this wine. Kudos to Broc Cellars. Going to be a go to over the coming summer months.

New grape for me, and new Broc for me. Love it! The nose is a bit green and underripe, but the fruit is amazing. Red currant, raspberry, black cherry, some strawberry, but damp and dark, then it turns dry. Great balance of fruitiness and dryness towards the end. Some tannins on the finish and subtly herbal, but not much. Pure dry fruit for quite a while. Comforting winter red. Lovely label. With pizza.

As with other Brocs, this doesn’t hold up so much on the second day. Drink fresh.

旨味はかなりすごいし、綺麗だが、フレッシュさや華やかさが足らない…
少し、熟成したような色になってたから、その辺の影響?熟成香は無かったけど…値も張るだけに…

Pours like a fruit punch, then funk on the nose with subtle hints of bruised strawberries. The palate is nothing like what I was expecting. It’s dry as a desert with flavours of rhubarb, kiwi and cranberry with some sort of grassy background. An excellent rosé expression of this uncommon grape.

Still delicious. Very acidic but refreshing surprisingly, with notes of lemons and ripe red fruits, strawberries and some lingering lightly ripe mandarin oranges. Slightly funky nose, but very tasty.

Like all Broc Cellars wines, so much fun to drink! Jolly rancher summer time crack. Bright and citrus notes that does have a bit of weight at the end.

VERY floral nose, and opens up after it warms a big, with a very citrus forward flavor. Strawberry, sweet cherry, just very berry and citrus all around.

Much better than last year. Ripe strawberries, rose, it has a kind of lemony acid, and then a great herbal component. It’s almost like concentrated strawberry lemonade with a wood component that’s really nice not at all like oak.
