Juicy, low-alcohol (at 12%), and fresh. Tart and crunchy red fruit flavors. Cabernet Franc that is somewhat reminiscent of a Beaujolais gamay or a Jura red. Fun and yummy!

Eh - weird taste, not my favorite red, not enough dry bold flavors

Koukou (baby chicken in Japanese)

This is a proper Claret.
Color is deep Franc red, and crystal clear (you can read a newspaper through it).
Nice fruitiness on the nose and pallet, Slight hint of herbal keeps an interest, along with a lil grip in the texture. Fantastic warm weather red, 12% abv, drink now.

From White Horse Wine and Spirits. I’m getting over a cold so my taste is a bit off, but lots of cranberries and milk chocolate, maybe some funky herbals 🍷

Juicy jolly rancher in a pine forest with all the pepper plants! Great as always. My favorite with thanksgiving dinner.

I don’t think this was meant to be aged but tasting great at 4 years. Nose is pepper and spice. Palate is lovely with all sorts of pepper but not too much. There’s fruity red berries, sage, savory spice in general, good tannin, strawberry, maybe some currant. There’s an interesting note from the peppers that leaves me wanting more yet refreshed. It’s almost like jalapeño lemon cucumber water or something. Outstanding!

Koukou, glouglou! Perfect earthy easy drinking, a slight chill is fine but not necessary, bbq wine. Strawberry jam, peppercorns, purple flowers, tart plums, a hint of cedar, good acidity and a bit of tannin. This cab franc is so refreshing and amazing.

2020 is tasting good fresh! Tons of vegetable garden this year with peppers, oregano, baking spice, fresh berries, currants. Always good!
