That time of year again. My second vintage of this funky rosé. Just like I remembered. Some polarizing reviews, but I love the wildness of this Grenache Gris. Just right for turning leaves and Fall harvest. Would also be nice as a Thanksgiving aperitif if you can wait. But I had it with leftovers.

Sep 26th, 2024Delicious Fall rosé. Fermented strawberry from summer’s past, funky, almond, herbal, apricot, slightly effervescent. Gibson Ranch has 110-year-old vines of Grenache Gris. With sheet pan chicken on roasted butternut squash, cranberries, red onion and kale. Precursor to Thanksgiving!

12% abv. Delicious natural wine. Fresh, fruity, nicely acidic. Good funk and slightly sparkly. (Helens). Definitely buy again.
