Another delightful bottle from Broc this weekend (really ripping through the special summer shipment) enjoyed at 6’ distance with a few friends in the backyard. Nice accompaniment to some smash burgers on homemade baps. A bit drier and more earthy than some of Broc’s other reds, but not to the level of complexity or aromatic beauty as a Chianti or RdM. For my money I’d rather have another bottle of the Love Red!

2024 vintage of Broc’s pizza wine. Having it with “pizza” gnocchi from NYT cooking 🧑🍳 A little jammy and sweet, with a tangy finish. Nice with the melted mozz

Mar 28th, 2026The 2023 is a blend of 40% Barbera, 40% Dolcetto, 14% Montepulciano, 6% Sangiovese. @Delectable Wine not a pure Sangiovese. Still a delicious pizza wine, or in my case, Monday night pasta wine. Cherry, raspberry and herbal tea - just as Broc says on the website ;) Easy to drink and uncomplicated.
