Brick House
Ribbon Ridge Gamay Noir
I think this is the right wine 2018 - this Oregon Gamay was really interesting with spice cake , lingonberry , earth slight oak background - thought this might be Beaujolais - so good

May 5th, 2021Honestly, for everyday easy drinking...I wish I had a case. This was quite lovely.

Dec 12th, 2018Crunchy strawberries raspberries and cranberries! What Gamay pop rocks would taste like if they existed (which they should) 💥

Oct 21st, 2018Fresh, juicy red fruit with a silky texture, vibrant acidity and white pepper finish. Would be lovely chilled with a charcuterie plate.

Oct 14th, 2018New year, new wine (no. 3): Fresh, young, sexy thang! Bright, juicy red fruit, floral, earthy, a nice little dash of baking spice, a surprising salinity (which is apparently a hallmark of Ribbon Ridge), and a finish that lingers for days. I want more of this.

Rounded mouthfeel and an umami-graphite-ink flavor after 30 minutes, good balance, just enough tannins for structure.
