I think this is the right wine 2018 - this Oregon Gamay was really interesting with spice cake , lingonberry , earth slight oak background - thought this might be Beaujolais - so good

Honestly, for everyday easy drinking...I wish I had a case. This was quite lovely.

Crunchy strawberries raspberries and cranberries! What Gamay pop rocks would taste like if they existed (which they should) 💥

Fresh, juicy red fruit with a silky texture, vibrant acidity and white pepper finish. Would be lovely chilled with a charcuterie plate.

New year, new wine (no. 3): Fresh, young, sexy thang! Bright, juicy red fruit, floral, earthy, a nice little dash of baking spice, a surprising salinity (which is apparently a hallmark of Ribbon Ridge), and a finish that lingers for days. I want more of this.

Ruby red, excellent clarity, moderate pigment extraction. Blackberry and blueberry aromas, black rasp and blueberry flavors with length, graphite on the finish. Good acid, some skin astringency in finish, aftertaste.

Moderately extracted ruby red, good clarity. Butter and black currant notes in nose. Cherry, raspberry and black currant in mouth, light skin tannins in finish. Rounded mouthfeel and an umami-graphite-ink flavor after 30 minutes, good balance, just enough tannins for structure.

Ready to drink, kind of a cross between pure gamay and Pinot noir. Paired beautifully with pork tenderloin pan seared with salt and pepper + Brussels sprouts. Acquired from Violette.
