One of the most complex and powerful southwestern whites I’ve had. So much good round acid, and minerals, forming the shape and layers of an entire lemon in the mouth: juice, pith, zest, seeds. All this sanded down by the slightest wood. Honeycomb and beeswax sweetness, lychee fatness on the palate. Beautiful sunny yellow color and taste. Develops, and gets flavors of white cherries or cherry flowers and some brown sugar on the nose. I could drink for hours.

Nose of dried apricots, fig, pollen, brown sugar. Lime and lemon strands. Minerals and a bazaar like perfume. Something you’d encounter in Morocco. Hints of incense. Unique and complex. Ocean scents but with lots of seaweed underneath. What a palate. Not as round as 15 but with more angles and terrific finesse and white cherries, yellow plum and tangy just ripe apricots. Chewy, dense and concentrated wirh brilliant texture, juiciness and depth. So energetic, clean and balanced and man is this long. A refreshing wine that also is complex and deep. Lemony finish. Wow. Structure to age for a decade or more.

Wow. Aromas wild. Smells like Lillet. White peach, apricot, sultry florals and ripe guava. Granny Smith and golden delicious apple on the palate, citrusy acid but without the bitterness of the peel. Rich texture paired with fresh acid and minerality in spades. A little like candy that is totally dry. Huge fan of this.

Nov 23rd, 2023@Josh Morgenthau’s review nails it. Nose recalls apero wines like Lillet. Honeyed, herbal. Mouth-coating mineral wash & acid. Orange flower, grapefruit, fabulous texture. Long finish. 🥰
