This wine just received a 97 rating at RP and it is truly outstanding. So even in Washington State with its dreadful climate miracles are possible.

Dark, rich fruit, menthol, cocoa. Alcohol stuck out way too much. Disappointing

Big blackberry compote, slight mint/jalapeño, forest floor and smooth tannins...but the acid holds it all together...

Nice balance of fruit & earth characteristics, plenty of structure from both acid & tannin

Deep almost blackish red coloration. Wreaks of elementary school marks-a-lot, licorice, and forest floor. Weighty attack of blackberry compote, licorice, and cassis with medium finish of chewy tannins and bright acidity. Still has some weight and tannin to shed but will retain its freshness due to its great amount of acid.

Mix of leather, black currant with notes of smoke. A little dusty. On the lighter side, a little more acidity than I like in cabs.

Very nice, on the ripe side but good acidity. Licorice, boysenberry, black cherry, Marks-A-Lot marker. Firm and long finish. A young wine to be sure. Rich and deep but not a ton of complexity. One of the better Washington State cabs I've had. Most I hate and find gloppy.

Dark, almost black. Medium+ viscosity. Bright, sweet red fruits, licorice, and vanilla on the nose. Medium body, medium+ acid, medium+ alcohol (marked 13.8%, but tastes much higher), medium, pretty round tannins, gravel, tart blackberries and raspberries, dust/dirt on palette. Paired very well with chimichurri skirt steak and artichokes.
