Lovely wine but definitely needs more time. Black tea and orange peel on the nose. Not totally closed but the tannins and fruit structure want ten more years. (Burg 5/6)

Lovely robust burgundy and a very pleasant surprise as I never heard about this wine from Bouchard before. Deep Ruby, expressive nose full of smoked turkey, bacon, black cherries, raspberry, leather and coffee, full robust body, rich with lovely well Intigrated tannins, nice acidity, lots of earthiness and a long rich finish. A truly robust wine that has lots of character! My score 90, drink to 2023 perhaps longer.

Rich and showy. Black fruit dominates, followed by layers of dried shrooms, leather, and toasted clove.
