Still tight, masculine, virile. As it warms up in the glass, the wine releases all its personality, captivating character and purity.

Very fine aromas of violets, anise and apricot. Delicate fine grained tannins integrated with cherry and apricot. Very juicy refreshing acidity throughout it all. Hard not to kill the bottle in minutes

At the epicenter of its sweet spot. Gorgeous!

Garnet. Expressive nose: berries, fruits, lingonberry, barrel, vanilla. Soft tannins, long finish. Hand picked, fermented in small containers, matured 10-18 mo in French oak (60-85% new). Bouchard Père et Fils is historic Burgundy wine estate, the largest vineyard owner in Côte d'Or, it produces >100 wines. Tailles Pieds 1er Cru of Volnay, represents its classic style: rich & textured, but w/ considerable delicacy. Wines can be cellared for years and ain’t quite as famous as Santenots, Champans- perfect buy. Rating 3,8/5
