Lovely warm rich fruit in the nose. Plum and soft Rainer fruit with done herbal notes in the background. Lush and pretty but still dense. Not showing much

Ethereal nose, I heard at least 3 “whoah”s. Silky and laden with strawberry and dark red fruit, sweet oak structure baked in. Dark tea and light stem secondary stuff. Fantastic, could use a few years or good decant.

Pink center wide watery rim , showing a little age, but in line with expectations . Quite a lot of interest on the nose , with some menthol , ripe strawberry , red cherry , earthy undertones . On the palate the red cherry fruit continues , nice ripeness to the fruit, mineral edge . Tannins still noticeable , balanced acidity . Long elegant finish. This exceeded expectations. Drinkable now though will improve over the next few years. Not really secondary yet, still quite primary fruit forward.

I’d probably take the ‘05 baby Jesus over this, but it’s close. This is excellent and 12 years in feels integrated and silky smooth.
