Feb 20th, 2023More floral than I expected. Very pretty. Dark cherry, violets, plum, garrigue, a faint hint of iodine. On the palate plush and open, as befits the vintage but still fresh with good acidity and balance. Rich and rounded with a decent finish.

Ethereal nose, I heard at least 3 “whoah”s. Silky and laden with strawberry and dark red fruit, sweet oak structure baked in. Dark tea and light stem secondary stuff. Fantastic, could use a few years or good decant.

nice for comparison for our Corton tasting. a large producer v’s small. broad, nice fruit. meaty and bing cherry nose. firm tannins- def could use a few more years.

Decanted prior to my arrival. Initial taste showed a bit muddled and nondescript. Time and air gave it lift. Flavors of dark cherry and sous bois, with nice balance.

Jumped out of the glass immediately. Very open for business and drank well above its price point. Easily another 15-20 years too

Awesome richness on the palate. Bright red fruits. Has a freshness to it that was surprising for the warm vintage.
