Jul 11th, 2021Smells of toast and bread rolls. Smooth mouth feel, silky fine tannins and sour cherry. But I think the toasty grains come through too much. Overly heated staves in the barriques? Still pretty good, though. Might not have really noticed if I hadn’t tasted three wines from the same producer, appellation and vintage next to each other.
