Peppery nose indeed! The Syrah smells like it should - earthy.

That earth continues into flavors of this blend. Medium to heavier bodied, blackberry branches, chalk, dried dark cherries, licorice.
High fiving acidity and oak.
This is a plead all blend. And for the minimal $ a perfectly good time wine.

The Syrah takes over in the blend the other components get lost still not a horrible wine just not very compelling

Meat and jam on the nose with slight hint of white pepper; light body; red raspberry, black pepper on the palate. Excellent walk-around wine before a grilled beast feast.

I bought this because the label intrigued me and, you know what, for a wine that's under $15 it's really quite decent. Dark fruits and a warming/spicy quality that you would expect from the name. Totally drinkable for those non-serious wine moments.

Sweet roasted pepper, ground white pepper, soft tannin with raspberry and blackberry. Remarkable value.

This is such a good wine for the $13 price point or whatever it is. Nice kick, complex flavors...would always buy again.
