One of those crazy finds you come across from time to time; this bottle was fantastic and one of the best QPR’s I’ve had in a long, long time. All of the best attributes of a cru-Beaujolais and yet it’s a blend of Cru and Villages fruit that is just delicious. Highly recommended!

This is a fun wine...tart red fruit, stemmy, weedy with some funk. Slight bubble gum/banana leaf character and some zippy acid. And medium tannin. This is 100% gamay and 100% whole cluster, not be confused with carbonic, although some is present here. Just a really nice wine, and great wine to understand whole cluster. Drank soley by itself..i thinks its slightly complex but easy to drink. Only a small amount made..

Medium Mia of ruby and garnet red. Nose of strawberries, twigs, a touch of funk, herbs and earthiness. Medium acidity (5.5/10) and light to light plus body. Earthy and savory on the palate with some red berries. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2022.

Better than a good house wine. Medium tannins, raspberry tint. Nice finish

Quite the image of the French Rev on label. Lovely dark red shade in the glass. Smells good and berry filled. Hint of meat or blood maybe too. Flavors are lovely with rose hips, jimíca (hibiscus), rose petals and tart cherries. Bit dusty like a bit of cocoa on truffles and plenty of mineral/granite in a storm. This is interesting deep stuff with a lot going on.

First dinner at frog with Evan and serving bulgolki. Distinctive nose with funky but enticing notes and hints of dark cinnamon. Good acidity and balance and medium weight and length. Good deal for the $13 from JR.

Really need cry nose of strawberries jam, banana, and cocoa. Very unique nose indeed. Taste is long got, yet with flavors, fruits like banana, pomegranate, varieties berries all show up very nicely. Acidity level is just right with a tiny touch of zest to give her a medium long finish. I will enjoy her way more in a hot summer evening. High quality Gamay indeed.
