Pale, nearly colorless yellow with a hint tiny bubbles. Aromas of oyster shell, tart granny smith apple. Crisp, high acid entry to palate. Linear in the mouth with a bracing texture. Finishes with a slightly clenched, acid-driven drying sensation. Should be a great match to intense flavors like the classic tapa of anchovy, olive and picked Gilda peppers.

What an interesting wine. New grape for us. Smacks of green apple right up front. Then a little lemon/lime rolls across. Bottle says “sea salt” because it is grown near the ocean. Think I agree with that in the finish. Also has a little bit of effervescence like a vinho verde. I actually would buy this one again.

Crisp, tart, clean and sharp fruits, salt. Beautiful summer sip with roast chicken or probably on its own. Definitely will cut through heavy summer fare or oily seafood.
