Legon Premium Ribera del Duero Tempranillo

Bright Tempranillo, opening up quickly to layers of red and black fruit and some nice cassis notes. Grippy tannins. Great value at 20 bucks. WE 94 points seems a bit high.

Vintage 2014 / I am cheated with this wine, of which I though it’s origin would be Tuscany. Beautiful wine from Tempranillo.

Beautiful Ribera, balanced, silky, spicy. Delicious.

Legon premium 2019, extraordinary vintage in Ribera del Duero, deep and bold, smooth and long lasting

don't recall this being particularly interesting - well made, dark fruit dominant nose, straight forward, med + bodied, not overly grippy tannins. smooth on palate, silky w/decent finish. point chasing, approachable price point

Legón Premium 2020, una añada excelente en Ribera del Duero, fue una año seco y cálido, el tanino está mas suave y la acidez es moderada. Un vino perfecto para disfrutar a partir del año 2025.

Nice legs in the glass, tannins and plums

I’m not ordinarily a Tempranillo fan, and the ostentatious label was a bit off-putting. Nevertheless, this was a fabulous wine. Drink the 2015 now. It’s at its peak.
