Minty coconut smells,
2nd rating for this wine, what grabs me is the tart and delicious berry, eucalyptus, and powdery tannins that float about this wine, as if suspended. The nose is thrilling, the wine zingy, and steadfast. A perfect wine for a fall evening.

Big surprise for me...great blackcherry fresh/tart fruit, but big tobacco and dirt to go along with it. Soy/hoison sauce, and i love the oak integration. Acid med plus, tannin med plus...overall really loves this rioja..paired with a solid BLT!

Whoa brightness and berries with pepper! I’d be confounded as to what this is. It has Pinot cherries, Syrah pepper and Zinfandel dried fruit notes. What I do know is it is both light and full at the same time which is adorable and dangerous. Wait wait the alcohol is lemme guess 14.2? And in reality it is...14%. Dang. What fries should I order to celebrate wrapping a film and nearly nailing alcohol levels? Taco Bell, McD, or wild card? Also @Joe Lucca is this pic any better? I employed a tripod but still need a new phone

Searching for some inspiration... and I think I found some. Blackberry, dry earth, brick, and exotic spice, all dressed with balsamic. The oak treatment is palpable without being obtrusive, adding warmth, depth, and length. An excellent Rioja, particularly for New World fans.

Jul 28th, 2017Punchy and powerful. Steeped blackberry is the dominant aromatic, on the palate too. But there are also notes of earth and tobacco along with a fair dose of acidity to bolster and balance out this masculine Tempranillo blend.

Modern Rioja. Was surprised to find that this was %80 French Oak and only %20 American. The coconut and vanilla really come through on the nose followed rich black cherries. Medium bodied with drying tannins on the finish.
