Classic gran reserva. Cinnamon, vanilla, cedar. Aging wonderfully.

Silky but lacking character.

Syrah-like nose with stewed blackberries and raspberries. The palate is jammy with sweet, new oak lingering in the background. Seems a little 1 dimensional on the medium weight tannins. Drink now over the next 3 years (2018).

2017 vintage. Light-medium/medium body. Slightly freshy greenness (not herbaceous) involved mid-palate. Unusual but completely integrated. This wine is chiseled, drinking well now, and likely for the next two decades+. Minimalist pleasure. 8.5.26.
