Nice oaky nose, with almost a little meat, bread and cheese action going on. Those are probably technically "off" flavors, but screw it; I kinda like em. After all, what goes better with an inexpensive Rioja Tempranillo than a meat and cheese sandwich?

A rich berry start but a bit of a flat finish. Has good potential but falls flat. No real spice or fullness. Not bad, but not the best Tempranillo.

Fruity/smokey smell, fruit when you first taste then turns to more earthy tones. Medium bodied. Good with chicken parm.

Feb 24th, 2017Some very nice oak and currant on the nose. Dark fruit, vanilla and a bit of spicy tannin on the tongue. A lovely super-drinkable Rioja. And Riojas are my jam anyway.
