Deep garnet red almost ruby red. Quite an earthy nose with notes of forest floor, a bit dirty, dark cocoa and a touch of raisin. Similar notes on the palate with solid acidity. Notes of dark red fruits, black currants and some petrol. Well integrated tannins (5.5/10) and medium body. Medium plus to long finish. Drink till 2023.

Whoa!!! This is a big one no doubt. Ripe and loads of oak, but it handles it well. So enjoyable for a couple of glasses and a true crowd pleaser. Well done but not overdone

Aged beautifully. Leather, sandalwood, syrupy blackberry. Would have scored higher but finish is tart and medium-short.

A big massive rioja. Saying this has some earthy aromas would be an understatement. Red fruits, tobacco, lavender, and earthiness but not as much as on the nose.
