Pale straw lemon color with crisp citrus, herb and blossom aromas. On the palate apple and melon flavors with lemon citrus. Medium+ finish, zesty acidity, rich bright mineral notes come through on the ending. Nice value, a favorite.

This wine also has an earthy tone to its nose, but not as strong as Paco & Lalo. The citrus aromas come through nicely and are accompanied by a light floral bouquet. The palate is loaded with lemon and lime and the acidity is gentle enough to pair with something spicy.

Oct 2nd, 2021Tried at a tasting, like it, so I bought several bottles. An interesting and unique Albariño. Medium lemon color with aromas of stone fruits, citrus, blossom and biscuit notes. This wine was fermented in oak, and kept on lees for 6 months, with occasional stirring (batonnage), giving a soft creamy yeasty tone to the wine, aging well. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with toasty oak notes and vanilla spice. Long smooth finish, good acidity balance, ending with fruit and oak character. Nice!
