On first open, had almost Zinfandel-like fruitiness with tea leaf tannin. With a bit of air, the wine relaxed, body became lighter side of medium, acid and tannin more noticeable. Overall, elegant 100% Monastrell/Mourvedre. Drinking very nicely now, drink within the next three years. Excellent value, around $15.

What the hell? This used to be a reliable, if simple fruit driven wine that filled the 'wife wants another glass of cocktail red after dinner' yet was drinkable and vaguely interesting. Now? So much RS. We couldn't finish our glass, let alone the bottle.
