This is actually the Art Collection Garnacha Rose’. Light salmon/pink color. 100% Garnacha. The nose is full of flowers, peaches and red berries. Strawberry and nectarines fill the pallet with a hint of baking spices on the finish. Nice balance of acidity and texture. Great QPR.

Looks like prune juice, smells of a barnyard; full of flatulence, dates, and fårikål. But the palette is good: there are still tannins left and acidity to match it. A good, dirty wine!

NOSE: cherry cordial, plum…fruit leathers from when I was a kid. Vanilla bean and chocolate. A little clove. Sandalwood. A dash of something tropical…like mango. Interesting.
TASTE: fresh cherry, nice zip of acidity, baking spices, fragrant wood, a little milk chocolate. Finished w/a little cooked meat. Medium weight, a little thin. Probably not worth the price to me - there are other Riojas in the same price range or cheaper that I much prefer - but good. 89.
