Infinito Jumilla Monastrell

Medium ruby in color; blackberries, black cherries, and graphite on the nose; medium plus acidity; high tannins; tastes like black plums, cassis, and cardamom with a long finish. Nellie's grandma liked it, and I do, too.

Had the 2018 in August of 2024. Really tasty monastrell. Lighter body with a lightly tannic finish. Hints of black cherry and currants along with a kiss of spice and leather. Had with charcuterie and paired very well. Loved this one and would buy again.

A little acidic with a light body

Great nose. Light start with more complex ending. Dry and not overly fruity. Nice Spanish Monastrell.

Confirmed previous note, giving bump for QPR

Just ok. Wine store had it priced at $75 originally, we got it for $25 (!!!!!). Honestly kind of bummed we paid $25 for it. Ruby red, semi-opaque. Smells like cherry, raspberry, and must. Cranberry and lemon. Quite acidic, lingering acidity and bitterness at the end. Medium bodied. Won’t go out of my way to have again, even with the deep discount.

I expected so much more from this wine. Purchased at our local place and ratings were high. I would put this as an average wine. Okay taste, however, no wow factor!

Did not like after few days — Costco

A winner! Some of these wines from Yecla & Jumilla can be fruit bombs, big fleshy tannic, but this had really impressive extraction yet balanced & nuanced. Inky wafting tons of black & blue fruits, some cassis & lead pencil, something feral. Almost elegant but certainly balanced on palate - oh so generous, more earth driven secondary elements alongside massive fruit. Downright delicious
