The medium bouquet is dominated by earth, underbrush, black pepper, and some dark fruit. Black berries, plums, and a bit of pepper on the palate. Nicely balanced, but a bit restrained. Medium finish. Better with a bit of air, although I dont feel this is a wine that needs to age.

Cherry and raspberry and a hint of spice on the nose, flavor is fruity and sweet, but not cloyingly so. Nice tannins and backbone to support the fruitiness on the front, with a little bit of a pleasantly thorny twist on the finish that shows this wine is not playing around.
