Deep Ruby with aromas of earthy red/black fruits with herbs, toast and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of ripe black cherry flavors with vanilla, oak and cacao notes, nice acidity balance with soft ripe tannins. Long finish ending with subtle fruit, tobacco and toasty oak, drinking very well now! Still has room to age, but I think it’s perfect now.

Traditional in a decidedly good way. But still with Ribera freshness and fruit. Paired great with skrei cod and aioli!

Deep nose of an old tabacco shop, where some of the boxes are covered in layers of old dust from the smoke and ash. A hint of animal pelt.

Dark berries - cherry, boysenberry. Dried plum that is Touched by Anise, basil, a touch of mountain salt.

The very long lasting finish is fuerte y suave at the same time, with a bouncing acidity between the staves last remarks.
I love this wine. And always seem to find a bottle on my shelf.

Clear, near brilliant, moderate red. Anise, toasted wood, vanilla and floral notes. Mixed berry, anise, both with length, chewy astringent finish. Fine bitter aftertaste. Worth aging this one

So vibrant and fresh still! Beautiful notes of sweet cherry, coconut, tobacco, and a cedar cigar box.

Wine always tastes better when the bottle's been signed by the winemaker, right? Fully evolved after 2+ decades in the cellar. Elegant, integrated, delicious.
