Opened up beautifully after about half an hour. Lovely with a tomato based pasta.

An interesting wine. Nothing to complain about but also nothing to write home about. Not sure I’d buy again but wouldn’t be offended if it was served to me.

Expected the usual inky black, heavy Malbec. But this was supple and soft, closer to a Cabernet Sauvignon with structure. Great stuff with beef. ($47 retail)
