For under $20 this is such a steal. Dark and inky, but a lot of vibrancy. Has a smoky vibe on the nose but is complimentary towards plums, blackberries, and vanilla. Smooth but with great structure. Features chocolate and plum and a lot of earthy leathery feels. Totally dig it.

TASTE: earth, cherry and cassis, medium weight, ends with bitter stone. It’s good, actually. 89-90.

Dry dark fruit. Tannens are very present. Definitely get the bottle, Jodi. Who drinks just a glass?

Nov 21st, 2021Gott friskt rödvin förväntade mig lite tyngre och tröttare vin men blev positivt överraskad. Vi tog den till en bit kött och den passade bra men den skulle lika gärna drickas i mer socialt tillställning.

Juicy and fruit forward. Dark plum and berry aromas with a hint of saline. Plum and dark currant flavors with a touch of fresh herbs (green) on the finish. Lighter bodied and less chewy tannins than in past vintages. Dark ruby color. Fresh and bright. I would like to revisit this one in a few years.
