Clear deep garnet colour with clean, medium blueberries and chocolate on the nose. Dry, with high tannins and acidity. Medium bodied with a medium finish. Pronounced chocolate flavours with a touch of vanilla. A good quality wine.

Shame on me for assuming all #malbec is jammy and one-dimensional. This wine impressed me on first sniff with an intoxicating aroma of mushroom, truffle, forest floor, touch of nail polish (but not overpowering) and distant bramble berry. Nice weight on the palate, textured tannins and a healthy backbone of acidity with a long finish. Excellent wine to pair with milder Indian food.
