Ugh. This shows heavy VA which seems like it might actually work at first — You can tell the grapes were good — but before the wine can open it becomes wretchedly mousy. Right down the drain.

Feb 18th, 2022An excellent followup to the highly rated 2015, The nose on the 2016 Sin Azufre displayed a mix of wild berries with hints of crack black pepper, exotic spice and wild herbs. On the palate, I found zesty textures with notes of tart blue and black berry fruit, sweet herbs and violet candies. The finish was fresh and lifting as wild berry tones and inner violet florals lingered long. This doesn't have the energy and ripeness of the '15 but it's quite beautiful for it's spicy and fresh personality.
