One of the better Argentine Malbec for me in a while. Violets, iron, spice, blackberry and plum with excellent acidity and structure. A Graves like scorched earth character in the nose was great.

@LauraCatena #nwf15 her wines are fabulous but she is the star behind Catena wines. Pure Argentina Malbec with blueberries, gravel/graphite and a silky texture.

Dark red colour with a spicy / peppery wild cassis bouquet. Plum, pepper and some blackcurrant on the taste but I was a little underwhelmed given its pedigree as it lacked a certain energy / breadth and I love a good catena zapata. Needed food.
