About the 10th bottle I've had of this year. Yet another winner. No need to wax lyrical on this one other than to say it remains near peerless at the price point. I should have bought more

Very very drinkable - subtle power with beautiful balance - think I will hold the rest for a few years

Chalky dry firm tannin, savoury, black fruited with a bit red in there. Subtle aniseed, herbal and more than I can ably spot. Medium bodied super long finish, great food wine. Aussie Bordeaux yay!

Totallly in the zone. Merlot/Cab Franc (67/23%) blend, tobacco, blackcurrant and a suggestion of mintiness.

Tannin is firm, giving great body. Excellent wine.

A good thing, this. Juicy bramble fruit, bay leaf, tangy acid.

The intensity of nose and flavour caught me off guard - this was an unexpectedly big boy wine for a Monday night. I can’t have paid much for this and it’s a real treat.

Took a while to open up but then came the fragrant black currant with leafy herbiness and a tobacco note. There’s a softness across the palate but a firm finish of understated, fine tannins. Enjoyable and definitely improving in the glass.

Right bank Bordeaux style. Not bad for the price point.

Savoury black currant, plum, blackberry, a little smoke and dried herbs. Firm tannic structure. In a really good place right now.
