This is the Blanc de Blanc Grand Cru with fruit sourced from Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Mesnil-sur-Oger from mostly the 2017 vintage and some from the 2016 vintage. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The NV BdB Grand Cru pours a light straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is youthful with notes of tart fruit: green apple, star fruit, split almonds, limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. This is super fresh and easy to love, in the house style. Drink now but could easily be cellared for years. Disgorged Q2 of 2023.

Burgundy night. Started off with a nice champagne followed by a Cali roussanne to calibrate the palates.
En mag. Crazy good. Baked apple pie. Chalky limestone. Perfect acidity...almost creamy type front palate. I believe this is ‘09 base. So good.

Biscuit dough, lemon balm, sharp as a razor and streaks across your taste buds like a lightening bolt. #bowdown

Fruit from 5 villages in Cote des Blancs: Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Mesnil sur Oger & Oger. 25% reserve wines. Partial MLF. 7 g/L. A bit disappointed here. A bit like if all is here but had been left unattended. The result is like an unfinished art work...
