Different farm animals on every one of their wines, fun concept... and the wine is very good as well. Ruby red, light to moderate pigment extraction, very good clarity. Cherry and briar notes in nose, extremely fragrant. Cherry, mint and candied fruit flavors, good complexity in profile, menthol aftertaste with light lingering skin astringency and slight seed bitterness. Astringency increases to moderate intensity. Barrel smoke emerges after an hour. Decant two hours for tannins to soften for good flavor expression and soft, rounded mouthfeel. Raspberry and cola flavors eventually emerge.

Excellent - quite elegant like a Volnay. Dark berries mostly. I really like the Pinot's from this winery.
