Had this about a week ago, and after a 3 hour decant, this one was showing true colors. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, from Mendoza Argentina from Mascota Vineyards, with a 94 pt critique from James Suckling. Feels like South America; spicy, rich, and dark. Soft nose of violet, tobacco, bell pepper, espresso, and pencil shavings. The pallet is bold and richly textured, exhibiting notes of creme de casis, nutmeg, a note of mole sauce (peppers and chocolate), and a lingering finish. 93 pts in my book, and one that will need a few more years to really be at its best. Would love to have this with a true slab of Argentinian beef.

Deep red color with aromas of dark fruit and aromatic spice. On the palate blackberry and cherry flavors with dusty pepper spice. Grainy firm tannins carry this full-body wine to a medium finish ending with tobacco and oak. Ok, a bit pricy, but not great. Tasting Sample.

Truly a $50 $100 bottle of wine. Absolutely fabulous on every level. Full and robust with an amazing lingering finish. Superb at any price point.

Intense, jammy, and tannic.... needed to open up more. Decent wine but not at that price point.

Have to give this wine time to open up and when it does it's rather good. Would also be an interesting wine to place in the cellar for 10-15 years.
