Founded in 1998 on an historic site in the Santa Cruz Mountains next to Big Basin Redwoods State Park. Powerful aromas of red fruit and complex spices, however the palate is light and smooth with flavors of strawberry, pepper spice and mint. Lingering finish, soft tannins ending with a mineral edge. Very nice!

Actually pretty brilliant stuff! I wouldn't mind a glass of this elegant and airy stateside PN on a daily basis.

You can smell the whole cluster. Burgundy all the way.

Promising! Youthfully unevolved with interesting, green, stemmy notes providing grip to the lovely red berries dominating the medium (-) bodied palate. Juicy finish with hints of herbaceous notes.

2012 vintage. Lovely purity; chalky red berries, lively acidity and a soft but present tannic grip providing moderate structure on the juicy finish.

Spicy fruit forward. Long lasting & downright very good. If this is where we are starting price range with big basin, can't wait to see where we go from here. Very happy purchase. Repeat button for sure
