Dark purple in color. The nose – Spring flowers !?!
Palate- Seamlessly constructed wine. Red fruits of cherry, plum, raspberry. Tar licorice, espresso. Well integrated tannins, wood, acidity. Very good bottle. Not great.

Day 21 of our 24 day cruise to the Amazon. Had a filet with this wonderful wine. This is at its peak. I'll have to suffer through my remaining bottles soon.

Dark ripe fruit, violets, and dark chocolate. Amazing concentration/finish. M-M+ acid. This wine was still amazing on the 2nd night, after being open for almost 38 hours and could probably go at least another day. I'll keep the last one for some time.

Fruit bomb baby! U can tell Russell had fun with this wine. Awesome ripe berry bursts forth from the glass. Yet the finish is dry and with some nuance of spice. Fun impressive wine. Blind is mistake it for a zin except the finish is very different
