Wine was past its best. Tasted more like a ok Nebbiolo. No aging notes of leather or that beautiful garnet brick color. Very disappointed we had this at least 5 years, would had drank a lot sooner if I knew!

This wine has a lot of things going on. Had to be chilled properly to overcome the 14.5% alc. black licorice, warm spice, cinnamon, ripe red fruits, great balance & structure with good acidity & tannin.

All of the tannins you'd expect, but it feels a bit hot on the nose and could use more balance.

A dark plum colour, delicious and aromatic with rich tannins and characteristics of flowers and stewed plums on the nose, the palate enjoys significant acid with a long, strong, earthy finish. Paired wonderfully with a hearty veal tagliatelle.
