Nothing special. You can trick someone into thinking they're drinking something better than they are by focusing on what ELSE is made in this region. But this is nothing special at all.

Seems like it has some heat for a lower alcohol. Fresh red fruit, light bodied...nice opener wine.

Not my favorite Italian. Not much body and a little sour. Still drinkable.

Reminded me of some of the nicer Gamay Noirs I've had from the Niagara region.

Sour cherry fruity nose, prunes, leather, hint of copper. Spicy, forest floor finish. Nothing too special.
