Le Pre Du Col Vineyard Oregon Pinot Noir
Our weekend started a day early, and what a way to start. Classic domestic pinot which goes toe-to-toe with the best pinots that the French have to offer. Bright, textured and relatively dense on the mid palate. Nice weight, coupled with soft tobacco and moderate sweetness. Super duper effort from these guys. Not quite as full as prior bottles.

Feb 12th, 2021The name means meadow on the hill. Dark Ruby with elegant red fruit aromas and smoky herb and floral spice. Flavors of fresh cherry and cranberry with notes of white pepper, tea, cinnamon and licorice. Fine tannins on a long finish ending with spicy fruit and mineral notes. Cellar for a few years! Very Nice! Tasting Sample.

Nov 25th, 2020Such a sexy nose, dominated by strawberries and cola. Palate is pristine, linear and laser-focused. Tannins are integrated, while the acid profile is somewhat relaxed. Mineral-driven mid palate, with good weight and a lithe, strawberry fruit presentation. Very impressive for its stature and elegance.

Jun 21st, 2020Last Friday was our normal 4th Friday happy hour at the storage facility, but since this month had 5 Fridays, why not keep the party going?!
Are you serious? Holy smokes. This is so Burgundian that I had to double take. So much cedar, kirsch and cola on the nose, but the finish! So unique. Herbal and floral. Little fruit (mainly red, big cherries). A savory finish. I'm missing out on Oregon Pinot!

Feb 6th, 2021This is just getting to its drinking window. The nose is a little muted now but the palette is beautiful. Long finish that gets a little oaky, but give that a few more years. Pretty.

May 9th, 2020The nose smells like a barn and it took awhile to open up. It’s not my favorite wine from Bergstrom but it’s still a decent wine. After an hour i changed my rating as it opened up a lot. Wet stone one the palate and the barn smell went away.
