Homage Pinot Noir

Complete and complex 2011 that's just starting to pop. Not as rich as other years of their wines. I like!!

Beautiful wine. Fragrant flowery nose. Light cherry clean flavor. Lively and fresh with a tannic and earthy finish. Leave open 1 hour before consuming.

Mediocre but high priced Pinot Noir. Okay fruity wine but nothing special. Not worth $90.

Intended to be a one barrel assemblage for the French Laundry. Through assemblage, Josh believes that he’s able to showcase the true artistry of winemaking. Homage is a combination of his best barrels from that vintage. A portion of the proceeds goes to support the Salud! Auction. 2017 is definitely a baby. Would love to revisit in 5-7 years.

Excellent nose with fruit and spice. Mid plate is rich with a lingering finish with nice acidity and a juicy raciness.

Deep. Dark covered fruit. Beautiful balance again. Bright on the nose more tannic on the tongue right now. Mustiness.

Lovely round nose, fruit, cedar, flowers reflected well in balanced flavor and anchored by just the right astringent tannins. Just feels right. Love it!
